Robert “Robb” Daniel Earnest of California gained experience in film and TV production while working with some of the largest film and TV production outfits in the world. For instance, at HBO Max, he was the production supervisor of the films “Kimi” and “No Sudden Move.” Robert Earnest was also a part of Warner Bros production of “Magic Mike” and “Contagion” as a production coordinator. In addition to his professional endeavors, Robb Earnest belongs to the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE).
IATSE is a labor union representing artisans, technicians, and craftspersons working in the US and Canada entertainment industry. In 2010, IATSE and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, a union representing blue-collar and professional workers in the United States and Canada, signed the “Mutual Aid and Assistance Pact.” The Pact is an agreement guiding their partnership towards achieving their shared initiatives and goals. In July 2022, the two unions reaffirmed their partnership and signed the Pact for the second time.
Over the past 12 years, IATSE and the Teamsters have partnered to navigate the motion picture industry, especially on issues important to their members, such as employee benefits, health and retirement benefits, and standard of living. In particular, IATSE and the Teamsters are active participants in the Motion Picture Industry Pension and Health Plans.
